Infans, the quiet prince

One of my imaginary creatures from childhood. I thought that while practicing backgrounds and effects, Infans should finally come to life in one of his forms. In future I will make a concept design for it other forms.

Quick sketch with movement and flowing shape.

After colouring the sketch and shading the shapes for the muscles, I was ready to do the fur and markings to make sure they work together as a drawing.

Inspired by Finnish spitz, the colours came naturally.

To the actual project. Background and effects. I concentrated on the smoke and the floor to work together. Last thing was to add lighting effects to the creature so it would fit to the scene.
